Medical Materiel Acquisition and Lifecycle Support and Transition

ATC is one of the leading providers of Medical Materiel Acquisition support services to the U.S. Army’s Medical Research Materiel Command (USAMRMC). ATC’s professionals provide their expertise in areas of lifecycle management, cost-business analysis, market investigations and transition to the field of specialized products for the military.

ATC is a functionally integrated, responsive organization designed to provide, in part, information pertaining to life-cycle management, fielding, and operation of medical materiel acquisition programs supporting USAMRMC Headquarters, Department of the Army-approved missions. ATC’s professionals provide their expertise in areas of lifecycle management, cost-business analysis, market investigations and transition to the field of specialized products for the military. ATC’s professionals have supported several USAMRMC missions where DoD 5000 documentation was instrumental in helping to provide medical knowledge and materiel lifecycle management support to protect, treat and optimize Warfighter health and performance.

ATC currently supplies the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity (USAMMDA)’s Pharmaceutical Systems Project Management Office (PSPMO) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Meeting Facilitation Services, and we work with product managers to facilitate the smooth transition of mature products from science and technology (S&T) into Advanced Development (AD). This process involves working with the research area directorates (RADs), portfolio managers, and transition specialists to identify products ready for AD and facilitate their entrance into the decision gate process. We continue to work with the RADs to follow-up on the progress of the product teams to assist in the portfolio management of S&T projects. We also encourage the use of the decision gate process that requires IPT participation to gain early visibility of projects for AD and ensure the efficient and smooth transition of projects from the S&T phase to AD.
